Is the game free?
Yes. BalkanWordle is completely free. Ads cover the cost of running the site.
Do I need an account?
Not for Unlimited mode. You need an account for the Word of the day, saved results, win streaks and a place on the leaderboard.
Which languages can I play in?
Words are available in Serbian (Cyrillic and Latin), Croatian, Bosnian, Montenegrin, Albanian, Macedonian, Bulgarian, Slovenian, Romanian and Greek. You choose the game language in the top menu, separately from the interface language.
When does the new Word of the day arrive?
Every day at midnight UTC, which is 1:00 Central European Time in winter and 2:00 in summer.
Can I play the Word of the day more than once?
Once a day in each language. If you want more, switch to another language or to Unlimited mode.
How do I type LJ, NJ or DŽ?
Use the dedicated keys on the on-screen keyboard, or type the first letter and then the second one while holding Shift (for example, L then Shift + J). See “How to play” for details.
Why was my word not accepted?
A guess must have the right number of letters and exist in the dictionary of the selected language. Also check that you entered any two-letter character as a single tile.
How is the win streak counted?
Your streak grows when you solve the Word of the day on consecutive days. A skipped day resets it, and an unsolved Word of the day sets it to zero.
How do I delete my account?
